About Rio Heating

Rio Heating is a family business in Bournemouth with more than 30 years in the heating trade. We design and sell one product, the Rio Eco Plus ceramic core electric radiator, in three sizes, and we support every one of them ourselves.

Why ceramic core

A conventional panel heater warms the air in front of it and stops the moment the element switches off. The Rio Eco Plus heats a dense ceramic core instead. The core stores that heat and releases it steadily into the room, so the temperature holds between heating cycles and the element runs for fewer hours than the radiator is switched on for. There is no oil to leak and no fan to hear.

Control from your phone

Every Rio Eco Plus has WiFi built in and pairs with the free Tuya Smart app, with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant on top. Weekly schedules, room-by-room temperatures and remote on/off, with no hub and no subscription. Each radiator also has its own thermostat, 7-day timer and open-window detection, and is Lot 20 compliant.
